YUMMY VEGAN PROATS

Macros - 42g protein / 52g carbs / 25g fat

If you are rushed for time and looking for a macro-balanced brekkie option, look no further. These yummy proats takes no longer than 10 minutes to prepare and keeps you full for hours. Such a tasty and handy option when you're on the go.

Ingredients

  • 1 x scoop of True Protein Vegan 85 (I've used French Vanilla in this recipe but chocolate works very well too) - https://www.supps42.com/collections/true-protein/products/true-protein-vegan-85
  • 30g creamy protein oats
  • 30g Goldenvale's granola (for crunch and fibre)
  • 125ml of Vitsoy's protein plus unsweetened soy milk
  • 10g Noshu's sugar free choc chips
  • 1 x small banana (for a low cal option use any type of berries instead)
  • 1/2 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen

Method

  • Make the porridge first
    - Place oats, granola and milk in a bowl and microwave for 60 secs
    - Add protein powder and mix it all up
    - Top up with water or milk, if needed
  • Add toppings
    - Add banana, strawberries and choc chips
    - Sprinkle some granola for crunch
    - You can use any type of toppings with the French Vanilla flavour

Notes

  • True Protein Vegan 85 is one of the very few protein powders that is lactose and gluten free. It also has a superior amino acid profile which means your BCAA needs are fulfilled in 1 scoop.
