A: No. We always stress the importance of getting the nutrients required for you to achieve your health and fitness goals via whole food sources. For example, you should always look to get your protein from chicken, beef, eggs etc. rather than protein shakes. 

With that said, it's quite hard to consistently do this everyday. We all lead busy lives and sometimes don't have time to prepare or even sit down and eat a whole food meal. That's where supplements come into play. In times where you don't have time to eat a proper meal, a protein shake is a quick and easy alternative to feed your body the nutrients it requires whilst still continuing on with your day. Supplements 'SUPPLEMENT' your diet aka they fill the gaps!
